Welcome to my web site!

Whether you are looking for information
for a book report, an author visit, ways to
incorporate my books into the classroom,
or just a little fun, you’ve come to the
right place. If you don’t find what you are
looking for, please contact me.

Of course, I’d love to hear from my readers anytime!

I'm thrilled to share that THE HOUSE ON DIRTY-THIRD STREET has been honored with two wonderful awards -- a Christopher Award and the Social Justice Literature Award from the International Reading Association. The Christopher Awards celebrate media that "affirms the highest values of the human spirit."

Latest News!

The first, ALABAMA, has been released, and I anticipate SOUTH DAKOTA to be out later this year. Stay tuned for LIGHT next year!
